Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo Markin has informed the minority on his side’s readiness to debate on the message delivered by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

The majority leader, addressed the Minority leader, soon after the delivery of the President’s state of the nation address, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

He indicated that all points being collated by the minority to be used against the President’s message are going to be juxtaposed with the transparency and effectiveness of ex president John Dramani Mahama’s state of the nation’s address in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the Minority Leader, was urged by the Majority Leader to provide a second to the President’s message, thereby initiating further deliberations in parliamentary.

This marks Alexander Afenyo Markin’s first official role at the State of The Nation’s Address as newly elected Majority leader.
