Former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah, has highlighted the need for visionary leaders like Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, who is the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to lead and plan for Ghana’s development.

According to Mr. Amankwah, misconceptions about NAPO being arrogant or unapproachable comes from a lack of understanding of his personality. He emphasized that those who know NAPO closely recognize him as a good-natured individual.

Mr. Amankwah stated he had previously served as a youth organizer for NAPO and described him as a results-oriented leader who consistently strives for positive outcomes.

He referenced NAPO’s tenure as Minister of Education, during which he spearheaded the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy, benefiting many Ghanaians. He also noted NAPO’s achievements as Energy Minister, particularly his role in resolving the country’s electricity crisis.

Mr. Amankwah expressed confidence in NAPO’s ability to serve effectively as Vice President if the NPP wins power. He urged Ghanaians to focus on NAPO’s capabilities and track record rather than misconceptions about his personality.
