Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in securing victory for the ruling party in today’s elections.

Speaking to the press after casting his ballot in Walewale, located in the North East Region of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia shared his optimism regarding the conduct of the polls. He expressed satisfaction with the voting process so far and emphasized the need for a peaceful electoral process until the conclusion of the polls.

Commenting on his aspirations for a win, he stated, “A victory is a victory, and we just want to win. So, by the Grace of God, we will win.”

Dr. Bawumia is competing against 11 other presidential candidates in what appears to be a closely contested race.
