Klottey Korle Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) paid a courtesy call on the party’s Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at his residence earlier Tuesday December 10, 2024.
The Visit was to encourage and congratulate him for his outstanding performance in the just ended elections.
Leading the delegation was the Parliamentary Candidate for Klottey Korle Constituency, Valentino Nii Noi Nortey.
Speaking on behalf of the Executives, he pledged their unflinching support to Dr. Bawumia and promise to stand by him on any decision he makes for the future.
He also mentioned some of the issues which according to some party members, brought about their defeat.
‘’It is the party members that did not cast their votes. This is the time we as a party need to reflect on everything”.
‘’We want to encourage him and also to let him know that, we are there for him at every given time as well as to congratulate him. When you take a look at the presidential results, you would know that the NDC did not increase its votes.’’
Mr. Nii Nortey reiterated the party’s stance in working together and in unity to ensure the party wins back power in the next elections.
He praised Dr. Bawumia for his dedication during the campaign
“Dr. Bawumia gave in his all for this elections. We pray for strength and wisdom and we pledge to stand by him, in any decision that he will make’’.
