What is happening in parts of South Africa is more than a local crisis. It is a painful warning to the Pan African dream.
The AfCFTA cannot flourish where Africans fear fellow Africans. Continental integration will not be secured by treaties, speeches, or policies alone. It will be secured by the choices we make when fear, anger, and uncertainty test our humanity.
Two wrongs have never made a right. They only leave deeper scars for generations yet unborn to inherit.
NyansaKasa: The greatest threat to Africa’s future is not what others do to us, but what we do to one another. Let us not allow the actions of a few to rob an entire continent of its destiny.
The Africa we all desire remains in our own hands.
