The wife of Jerry John Rawlings, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has said that when he me the late President she know God created them for each-other.

In a tribute read on her behalf by her daughter, Princess Amina Rawlings said, “Jerry I know God created us for each other and together we made a formidable team, notwithstanding the ups and down of life.”

She added that, they believed in each other and in our dream of making Ghana a country we could all be proud of, one to set the pace for our sub region and continent.”

She said Mr Rawlings supported the brawl for women’s right in the country when he was the head of state and even after leaving office.

“With your help and support we were able to fight for the rights of women a reality,”
