Where Are They?- Ex-Okwahu United coach Mariga tells management to fulfill promises to players

Former Okwahu United, head coach, Ibrahim Mariga says the current management team should fulfill their promises to the team when they win in order to motivate the players.

According to him, the attitude of some past football administrators is what has resulted in the team’s current predicament.

“They must pay the players well especially their bonuses because it helps them to concentrate and focus for the next game”, he told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports Where Are They program?.

“They shouldn’t also put pressure on the players. When they make a promise they should just fulfill it”, he added.

Mariga guided Okwahu United to the 2016 MTN FA Cup finals against Bechem United which they lost 2-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Okwahu United is currently in the National Division Two League losing to Kwaebibirem United in the play-offs last season.
