Woman reveals how being in a long-distance marriage has caused her to cheat on her husband

A Ghanaian married woman, whom for the sake of this interview will be called Amanda has disclosed how being away from her husband has led to her cheating and wanting to end the marriage.

According to her, their being away from each other pushed her into cheating on him and now, she is no longer interested in the marriage.

Talking to Rev Nyansa Boakwa and his team on the Boneka Edition of NsemPii she shared, “I cheated on him because I was lonely and could not continue being alone and currently, I think I’m in love with the man with whom I cheated on my husband with because I no longer feel anything for my husband”.

She furthered that, she has already informed her husband about no longer having feelings for him and about they getting a divorce but he has refused and, “I’m also unable to tell him that I’ve cheated on him”.

Amanda disclosed that, although she no longer has feelings for her husband, it is hard for her to discuss what has happened with him because she feels she has disrespected him.

She told Rev Nyansa Boakwa and the Boneka team, “I really want to get a divorce and move on with my new found love but my husband is making things very difficult for me”.
