Controversial Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono, has stated that he has moved on from his famous “Gbee Naabu”diss track and advised Shatta Wale to do so too.
The Uptown Energy capo became public number one enemy to the Shatta Movement fraternity after he released a diss song for the widely acclaimed Ghanaian Dancehall king.
Earlier this week, the “Taking Over” hitmaker threw shades at Yaa Pono via Facebook live -proclaiming that he has literally ‘murdered’ his music career after the ‘Gbee Naabu’ hit track.
And during an interview with DJ Advicer Happy FM’s Ayekoo after drive show, Pono urged Shatta Wale to move on because he has done so too as he’s is busy promoting his new album.
“Gbee Naabu was recorded long ago and he took it upon himself as a diss to him, I know it hurt him and it’s still hurt him because I just saw some videos of him asking about the whereabouts of the Gbee Naabu hitmaker. That is how the world is, Shatta wale should stop talking about Gbee naabu, I’m done and over with it long ago and am now promoting my new song.”
When asked by the host whether he felt pressured at the time he released the song, Pono replied, “Ahh DJ Advicer you know I’m a human being and not a machine, such things will come, however, I know how to maintain such situations, but I was never afraid.
Yaa Pono is currently out with a new single Obia wo ni master which is also rumored to be another ‘diss’ track to Shatta Wale.
