The ‘Keep the Pleasure Forever’ campaign is an initiative of the station aimed at encouraging YFM’s cherish listeners and the general public at large to play safe and protect themselves from sexually transmitted diseases during this valentine season. The campaign which is in partnership with Rush Energy drink, Twillium Foundation and Cocoa Processing Company Limited is encouraging the general public to take protective measures such as the use of condoms seriously during this valentine season and beyond.

Speaking about the ‘Keep the Pleasure Forever’ campaign, Programmes Manager of Y 107.9 FM, Eddy Blay said: ‘’Keep the Pleasure Forever’ is to remind the public of the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases and their associated risks. HIV/AIDS, among other STIs is still prevalent and occasions such as the Valentine’s season tend to contribute to the increased spread especially among young people. We at YFM are therefore encouraging all our listeners and the general public at large to adopt preventive measures such as abstinence or use of protectives like condoms.

‘’I entreat everyone to mask up and observe social distancing, wash hands as often as possible. And always carry a sanitizer at all times. Let’s continue to stay safe in order to keep the pleasure forever”, he said.

Ali Ajami Chief Marketing Officer of Twellium on his part noted: “Rush Energy is a drink for the youth, and we felt the need to support YFM to push this initiative because we believe is a laudable one and also offers us the opportunity to engage the vibrant youth of Ghana with some give a way such as Rush Energy drinks, London Oats Cashew and milk biscuits, Twillium souvenirs and some condoms if possible. These items, coupled with Golden Tree Chocolates from our other partner, Cocoa Processing Company, we believe will give beneficiaries an energized valentine’s season and help them keep the pleasure forever
