YFM’s popular presenter DJ Sly King has secured a nomination in the “DJ Act of the Year” category for the 2025 Ghana Entertainment Awards, marking another milestone in his impressive 15-year career journey.
The nomination recognises Sly King’s consistent contribution to Ghana’s entertainment landscape through his work at YFM, where he hosts popular programmes that have resonated with audiences across the country. His previous recognition includes being “in contention for the top award of DJ of the Year at Ghana DJ awards 2023” and “received 7 nominations” at the 2023 Ghana DJ Awards, “including DJ of the year, best male radio DJ, Afrobeats DJ and DJ/Artist collaboration of the year.”
The Ghana Entertainment Awards, set to take place on 27th September 2025 in New Jersey, aims to showcase Ghana’s rich arts culture whilst providing recognition for outstanding talent in music, arts, and entertainment fields.
