President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has taken a swipe at his political opponents for being economical with the truth over his massive achievements.

The president told a crowd of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters at the final rally organized ahead of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election that he has performed so well although there are a number of promises yet to be fulfilled.
According to him, many were those who doubted his campaign promises and made mockery of his transformational agenda but God being so good, he has managed to deliver on 41 major campaign promises.

Nana Addo said, only those who are blind or deaf are the ones who are unable to see what he has achieved over the past two years.

He promised to deliver on all his campaign promises and said, “Ghanaians will surely see the good works after my fourth year.”

The president was optimistic that Ghanaians will tout him as a credible, honest and a man with integrity.

He called on constituents to vote massively for the candidate and wife of the late Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, Lydia Seyram Alhassan so she continues from where the husband stopped.

The president described the widow as a competent woman with a good heart, hardworking and a dedicated person.
He said, although she is bereaved, she is also concerned about the welfare of the constituents.
“So I will appeal to you to vote for her on Thursday January 31, 2019,” he said.

On her part, the candidate promised to execute an agenda premised on security, sanitation, women and children empowerment, as well as youth entrepreneurship.
