The youth of Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region have organized a Big Christmas Thanksgiving Float and Walk to promote unity and champion development in their constituency.
The event, which took participants through key towns including Boamang, Amoako, Kyerekrom, Maase, Soko and Adukrom culminating at the Police Station in Boamang, aimed to foster togetherness among the youth while advocating for critical local needs.
Speaking at the event, Francis Oduro Agyemang , organizer of the youth, emphasized the importance of unity among the youth to drive development in Afigya Kwabre North.
He urged the government to prioritize the completion of the Agenda 111 hospital project, which is currently 85% complete, to enhance healthcare access for residents.
Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North Collins Adomako Mensah, expressed gratitude to the youth for their initiative and advised them to remain focused and moderate in their festive season celebrations.
