A 10-month-old baby has reportedly been found buried alive at the shores of Nyanyano beach in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The incident which resulted in many trooping to the scene has created fear and panic amongst residents living in the area.
According to reports, the baby was found wrapped in a white cloth with a black polythene bag in his mouth with maggots ready to infest. some residents say the unidentified baby is suspected to have been murdered by some sakawa boys for rituals.
The Police arrived at the crime scene and conveyed the body to the Winneba Trauma Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The Gomoa Nyanyano District Police Command have initiated investigations into the incident.
