12th edition of e.tv Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run and Walk launched

The annual e.tv Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run and Walk has been launched.

The 12th edition of the annual 5KM run and walk was launched at the Silver Star Towers on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

The e.tv Ghana/Japan Motors run and walk seeks to promote healthy living, foster unity and build a networking experience for corporate Ghana.

The run has over the years taken place on September 21, a holiday set aside to celebrate the first President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The run will take place on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at the Silver Star Towers.

Programmes Manager of e.tv Ghana, Cosby Bikpe addressing the press during the launch of the 5KM run and walk said; “It has been twelve (12) long, yet fruitful years of commitment, consistency and humanitarian work and we are glad you all are here today. The e.TV Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run, held on 21st September every year has promoted regular exercise and healthy living amongst individuals in the corporate world and has also provided the platform for many businesses to connect.”

Highlighting on the objective of the run, he disclosed the e.tv Ghana and Japan Motors seeks to generate revenue to support the Ghana Blind Union (GBU). “Each year, we have donated portions of proceeds from the e.tv Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run and Walk to the GBU and this year will not be different.”

He urged corporate Ghana, individuals and parties interested in running to partake in the 12th e.tv Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run and Walk.

Raynold Owusu, Head of Business Development at Lakeside Estates who represented Event Director for Run Ghana, Salah Kweku Kalmoni disclosed the run will take place simultaneously across four (4) cities; Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale.

“Registration fees for the 5KM Run and Walk is GHC60.00 for Individual participants and GhC750.00 for a Team of 5. You can pick up registration forms at Silver Star Towers, e.tv Ghana premises at Asylum Down, YFM -Accra Mall and the offices of Global Media Alliance (GMA).”
