West Africa Football Academy maintained their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings after defeating Liberty Professionals 2-1 today at the Sogakope Park.
The win, WAFA’s seventh consecutive victory on the bounce was secured courtesy a brace by Komlan Agbégniadan at the Sogakope Park on Wednesday afternoon. Liberty skipper Samuel Sarfo scored a late consolation for the visitors.

WAFA went into the week 13 clash with a one-point lead over Aduana Stars who have a game in hand and were playing Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the late kick-off.
