Alex Amankwa has become the latest Ghanaian to miss out on a medal in the ongoing 2023 African Games.
Alex finished 5th in the men’s 800 metre finals finishing at 1.45.72 seconds on Wednesday, March 2024.
Two Kenyan’s secured the Gold and Silver medals as Cheminingwa Aron and Alex Ngeno finished with 1.45.72 and 1.45.73 respectively.
Botswana’s Nkape Tumo won bronze with 1.46.04 timeline.
