Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin has expressed his views regarding the unfounded conduct displayed by the Presidency following Parliament’s successful unanimous passage of the Human Sexual Values Bill, 2021.

The Speaker’s statement which was addressed before parliament on Wednesday, highlighted implications of the President’s stance towards the Bill, some of which are, a deviation from established democratic practices, a discord in cooperative governance and mutual respect for the arms of government.
