In a thrilling display of biblical knowledge, Selina kudadze of the Mount Zion Methodist Church grabbed the coveted title of champion at the Happy Bible Quiz grand finale.
She walked home with GHc 20,000 worth of radio airtime, a television set, a number of assorted prizes from partners, and literature from the bible society of Ghana.
From the Arena of Hope Ministry International, Patience Allotey grabbed the 2nd place spot walking home with a blender, bible literature and assorted prizes from partners.
Coming in at 3rd position, Frempomaa Mainoo Senya of the Apostolic Church of Ghana ,Ascension Assembly walked home with a kettle, bible literature and assorted prizes from partners.
The finals of the 4th edition of the most educative and interactive Bible education contest, the Happy Buble Quiz took place at the Mount Zion Methodist-Dome on Sunday December, 17, 2023.
The nine week quiz which started in October was climaxed in grand style with support from participating churches, and musical performances from guest artistes.
Patrons who trooped to support finalists stood together in worship as gospel musician Laty led them to the throne of grace whilst Martin Hayford thrilled with unending praises.
The presence of God was felt in the church auditorium, and this experience is one which will always be remembered. With his gift of poetry recital and spoken word prowess, Timmy the Poet extolled Christ in his virtue, and gave a picture of His magnificence to all present.
Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Timothy Karikari said it’s the station’s commitment to promote intellectual engagement and fostering a deeper understanding of the bible amongst the youth, “what happened today is a testimony of our objective. To the finalists, I say congratulations and praise you all for the display of a healthy competition. A big thank you to our partners for their support and prizes presented to contestants.”
On his part, Very Rev. Dr. John Kwesi Addo Jnr, General Secretary , The Bible Society of Ghana encouraged participants and the youth alike to constantly meditate on the word of God to make maximum impact wherever they find themselves,” this shouldn’t end here, I will urge you all to continue learning the word of God so you can impact your society and the country at large, Ayekoo to all participants.”
The Happy Bible Quiz is dedicated to the Christian community to promote the word of God and achieve the great commission.
