The Black Stars will regroup in Accra on Monday, September 1, as preparations begin for the next phase of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Chris Hughton’s men face a crucial double-header in Group I, starting with an away clash against Chad before hosting Mali in Accra.
Per the Ghana Football Association’s schedule, the team will train at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and Tuesday before flying out to N’djamena later that evening. The Chad encounter is set for Thursday, September 4, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno.
The squad will then return home to lock horns with Mali in a high-stakes showdown at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, with kick-off scheduled for 7 pm.
With qualification hopes on the line, the Black Stars are determined to secure maximum points from both games and take a big step toward booking a spot at next year’s World Cup.
