The Adentan District Police Command in the Greater Accra Region has arrested a 24 year old lady, Cynthia Nubuor, after her Nigerian landlord was found dead in her room.
The landlord is reported to have had sex with the lady. According to the police, the suspect alleged that the landlord, whose name has been given as Achi Ogu, 37, forced her to have sex with him.
She narrated that, she left him in her room at about 12 noon for work, and left a note asking him to lock up her room when he wakes up from his sleep and is ready to leave.
The incident, which happened at about 11:00am on Wednesday at Adentan near the Shalom estate junction on the Adentan-Abokobi road, has left the community in a state of shock.
The district command says they received a distress call at about 8:30pm that a man had been found dead in a room. The body has since been deposited at the Police Hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
The Police say they have launched a full scale investigation into the case.
