Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris netted the match winner for Lorient as they nicked a 2-1 win over Stade Rennes in the Ligue 1 on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old fired home the match winner just after the interval with a brilliant effort.
Under-performing Lorient scored first on the 28th minute through experienced Mickael Ciani but the visitors equalised in the 32nd minute to pile pressure on the hosts.
However Waris netted the winner for the Oranges in the 46th minute at Les Moustoir.
This means the Black Stars striker has scored twice in his last two games for Lorient after scoring on Saturday.
