Former Asante Kotoko Express Editor, Jerome Otchere, has expressed his displeasure at the manner in which the Black Stars team is being managed by the current administration.
According to renowned journalist, the arrangements made with regards the Black Stars Coach situation is not appropriate.
With just 10 days to the commencement of the World Cup in Qatar, Otto Addo is yet to release his final 26 man-squad to represent the country in the Mundial, a decision which has left many in disarray.
Sharing his thoughts on Ghana’s preparation from an administrative perspective on the Happy Sports Dialogue, Jerome Otchere said, “The situation in which the team is right now, there isn’t much we can do expect to support the team and wait and see what would happen. Let’s not deceive ourselves. Chris Hughton, George Boateng, Didi Dramani are not the ones calling the shots.Otto Addo always has the final say”.He told Ohene Bampoe Brenya.
“My biggest disappointment is the Sports Ministry and the government. I don’t think they have showed a lot of care in terms of managing what is a national asset and perhaps if you stretch to a larger picture, this may be the reason why lots of people are not happy with the team is being managed”. He added.
