Happy 98.9 FM has relaunched its news bulletin, “Happy Kaseɛbɔ”, with a renewed focus on delivering credible, in-depth, and engaging news to its listeners.

The launch took place on the Happy Morning Show with host Kwadwo Sefah-Danquah and featured special guests, including Dr. Affail Monney, Former President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Awudu Mahama, Editor of the Custodian Newspaper, and other staff and management of Happy FM.

Kwabena Ampong, Programmes Manager of Happy FM, emphasized that the relaunch of Happy Kaseɛbɔ is part of the station’s efforts to strengthen its position as a leading source of news and information in Ghana. “We believe Happy Kaseɛbɔ will become the go-to news source for Ghanaians who want to stay informed and engaged”.

Fati Shaibu-Ali, Editor of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, elaborated on the station’s commitment to providing factual information. She explained that the “Happy Kaseɛbɔ” team has undergone rigorous training to ensure in-depth reporting.

The program will feature a dynamic format, including, live reports and special segments like “Reporter’s Notebooks”. It will also focus on delivering fresh perspectives on in-depth news stories from Ghana and Africa, with a segment called “Nsem sisi” dedicated to bizarre stories. Each week will end with a “Story of the Week” selected for further investigation and coverage on Fridays.

To celebrate the relaunch, the GMABC Sales Department has announced special offers for businesses and organizations interested in advertising on Happy Kaseɛbɔ. Listeners can enjoy discounts of up to 70% for advertising packages exceeding three months and 60% for less than three months, plus other add-ons.

Listeners are encouraged to continue tuning in for the station’s diverse programming and invited to participate in Happy FM’s various activations. Happy Kaseɛbɔ was officially launched by Dr. Affail Monney, and listeners who tune in to the evening news bulletin at 6 pm can participate in trivia questions and giveaways.

The program will air weekdays at 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm, starting from Monday, July 1st, 2024, on Happy 98.9 FM.
