Irate Youth of Seketia-Kwatwoma, a farming community in the Jaman North District of the Bono region are demanding an unqualified apology from executives of the New Patriotic Party in the region over an unfulfilled promise to traditional authorities.

The youth had earlier launched a campaign dubbed, “NO NETWORK NO CAMPAIGN” to drive home their demand for network coverage in the area.

The angry youth say, the community faces a network problem making it difficult for businesses to thrive hence the need to tell politicians that without network coverage, they would not be allowed to embark on ang campaign in the area.

Narrating the motive behind the demand for an apology, leader of the youth group, Augustine Asumah a.k.a Ofutufour explained the DCE and some other NPP executives met traditional authorities some four months ago to promise them better telecommunication network before the December polls but that has not materialized.

He added the meeting at the Palace of the paramount chief was held at night at about 9:30PM.

The say the NPP executives wasted the chiefs time and deceived the entire community
