Korle Klottey: MP, MCE call for collective action to address Osu Beach pollution

The Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has praised the remarkable contributions of women in Ghana, emphasizing their significant role in shaping the nation’s future.

In a post on her Facebook page, Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings acknowledged the continued efforts of women who are breaking barriers across various sectors, from classrooms and markets to boardrooms and Parliament.

“This International Women’s Day, I celebrate all women in Ghana, who continue to break barriers and shape our nation. From classrooms to the markets, from boardrooms to Parliament – our contributions are undeniable ,” she wrote.

She also made a compelling call for more action to ensure gender equality, stressing that true equity requires more than just words.

“Let us accelerate action for gender equality. Let us challenge biases, uplift each other, and create a world where every woman and girl can thrive,” she added.

Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings’ message underscores her long-standing commitment to advocating for women’s empowerment and advancing gender equality in Ghana and beyond.
