The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has paid glowing tribute to five devoted members whose service and sacrifice left an enduring mark on the party and the nation.
Speaking at the Memorial and Reflection Night on Saturday, August 9, during the Candlelight Vigil for the August 6 helicopter crash victims, NDC General Secretary Fifi Kwetey reflected on their lives and contributions.
The NDC said, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah was remembered as a driving force behind the party’s electoral activities, pouring his energy and expertise into every campaign.
Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed was described as a true comrade, serving the public with an unshakable belief in solidarity and collective struggle.
Fifi Kwetey said, Dr. Samuel Sarpong was honored for a life marked by discipline, duty, and dependable service, embodying the spirit of selflessness.
Alhaji Muhammad Muniru Limuna was celebrated as a man of deep faith, a generous philanthropist, and a seasoned public servant whose loyalty to the party never wavered.
Mr. Samuel Aboagye, as Deputy Director-General of NADMO, worked tirelessly to advance the party’s vision with vigor and dedication.
While their passing leaves a profound void, the NDC pledged to honor their memory by pressing forward with its mission to build a stronger, more inclusive Ghana for all.
“May their memories shine as a guiding light for every hand and heart laboring in the vineyard of this great party,” the party said.
