The Adabraka District Court has adjourned the case involving Thomas Zigah, the second suspect in the alleged murder of Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah, to September 4, 2025.
The decision followed a dispute over Zigah’s health, with his lawyer requesting treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital instead of the Police Hospital.
The court declined, stating a formal application was required for any change in medical facility.
A separate plea for a one-week adjournment to obtain a medical report was also rejected, as prosecutors noted that investigations had extended beyond Accra.
Amoah’s charred body was discovered on July 9 at Abuom Junction near Kwabenya.
The prime suspect, Bright Aweh, remains in custody following his initial court appearance on August 28.
