Chairman of the Small Scale Miners Association urges Ghanaian youth to embrace hard work and reject get-rich-quick schemes

Chairman of the Small Scale Miners Association in the Amansie South district, Kwaku Abonee, popularly known as Chairman Osama, has called on Ghanaian youth to shun get-rich-quick schemes and instead focus on hard work and commitment to achieve success.

Speaking during a clean-up exercise and football game at Manso Akwasiso in the Amansie South district, Mr. Abonee emphasized that there are no shortcuts to becoming rich and urged young people to show dedication to their endeavors.

“There are no magic formulas for success,” Mr. Abonee said. “It takes hard work, commitment, and perseverance to achieve greatness. I urge all Ghanaian youth to stay focused and avoid distractions that can derail their future.”

Mr. Abonee also warned against drug abuse, saying it can destroy the future of young people. He encouraged the youth to stay away from substance abuse and instead channel their energy into productive ventures.

Nana Kwakye Gyimah Yeboah II, Chief of Manso Akwasiso, also appealed for improvements to the community’s poor road networks to boost economic growth. “Our roads are in a deplorable state, making it difficult for farmers to transport their produce to market,” Nana Kwakye Gyimah Yeboah II said.

“We need the government’s attention to improve our infrastructure and unlock the economic potential of this community.”
