BBC's Investigative Series; "Africa Eye" contacts alleged corrupt Ghanaian referees

Some Ghanaian referees and match officials have been contacted by Insight TWI; a TV production company in the UK producing a documentary programme for the BBC World Service investigative series “Africa Eye”.
Happyghana.com can confirm that Insight TWI made contact with the referees through the Ghana FA and informed the referees that the allegations were part of a documentary for the BBC World Service Series titled: Africa Eye – about investigations carried out by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The program intends to make allegations that a great many match officials in Ghana corruptly accepted cash, which is against the code of ethics of FIFA and the GFA.
In the individual letters written to the referees, the production company states the specific match fixtures in 2017 which based on which these referees allegedly took money. They also state the amount and in some cases locations where the money was accepted.
They are asking the referees to respond in writing to the allegation by 4:00pm (GMT) today to enable them proceed and finalise their production.
Our sources believe that the production company contacted the referees as part of the standard journalism practice of contacting persons and giving them an opportunity to respond to allegations made against them before publication.
A copy of the letter will be released on this website soon.
The following names below are referees alleged to have been captured in the video:
*James OSAFO
*Jason NUNOO
