Former GFA vice president, George Afriyie, has expressed his disappointment at the GFA Normalization Committee for their continuous disrespect to the football people.

The former Liberty Professionals director lamented at how the Dr. Kofi Amoah- led Normalization Committee has been jabbing them in the media whenever they get the opportunity to address Ghanaians.

Speaking to Moses Antwi Benefo on Happy FM’s ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’,the former GFA Vice President said “The Normalization Committee and Dan Kweku Yeboah must understand that they’re in the office temporarily. None of them contributed to the office they’re occupying.
The fact that we are quiet and supportive doesn’t mean they can talk to us anyhow. They should watch out in the coming days. We won’t allow anyone to talk to us anyhow, ”George stated.

It was alleged that each member of committee earns about $4,000 a month with the president of the committee taking $6,500 -which all comes from the GFA coffers at FIFA-.

George Afriyie however questioned why the Normalization committee members were getting paid from the account of the GFA .

“In the coming days we will question why they are being paid by the association which they are not members of. We respect the Normalization Committee so they must also respect us,” he noted.

The Spokesperson for the GFA Normalization Committee, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, earlier this week was on an Accra based station blasting critics of the Normalization committee

He said “A lot of people are making comparison and saying a lot of things. Journalists who lost their chop money, I repeat, those who lost their chop money are those criticising the Normalisation Committee.”
