In the early hours of Friday, March 21, 2025, a massive fire broke out in the bustling central business district of Adum, Kumasi.

The blaze caused significant damage to numerous shops, leaving traders scrambling to save whatever goods they could from the flames.

Amid the chaos, five individuals have been arrested on suspicion of attempting to loot items from affected stores.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly to the emergency, working tirelessly to bring the fire under control.

Authorities have since launched an investigation to uncover the cause of the blaze and address the reported looting incidents.

Officials are urging the public to remain calm and cooperate as efforts to ensure safety and restore normalcy in the area continue.
