#AFCONHub2023: Let's not lose hope - Stonebwoy encourages Ghanaians

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall superstar, Livingstone Etse Setekla internationally recognized as Stonebwoy has called on Ghanaians to heighten their support for the Blackstars.

The ‘Mightylele’ hitmaker in an exclusive closeup with Happy Sports at Abidjan, Cote D’ivoire, encouraged all Ghanaians to increase support despite the disappointment regarding the late defeat of the Ghana national football team by Cape Verde. “Unfortunately we saw how it went in the first match, but we cannot lose hope nor dampen our spirits.”

He added that all football teams are equally working hard to maintain and increase their competence in this ever-toughening football competition. “Let’s keep supporting the Blackstars no football team in today’s world is easy to knock over.”

The African continent’s major men’s football tournament, Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 kicked off on Saturday.

The tournament is being hosted in six stadiums across five cities in Ivory Coast, including the capital, Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouake, Korhogo and San Pedro.
