Businessman and investor, Elon Reeve Musk has said that Artificial Intelligence (AI), will surpass the intelligence of all humans by 2029.
Invented in 1956, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has undergone decades of improvements and notably emerged in 2022 as the key to increase in productivity and efficiency globally.
Elon Musk made his estimation in a quoted post on his X timeline. He replied to AI expert, Futurist Ray Kurzweil’s estimation of AI achieving human-level intelligence by 2029.
Elon on the other hand, stated that AI will achieve human-level intelligence by 2025 and will rather be exponentially smarter than the human race by 2029. “AI will probably be smarter than any single human next year. By 2029, AI is probably smarter than all humans combined.”
