National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, says President Akufo Addo is more corrupt than former President John Mahama .
According to Kofi Adams, President Nana Addo shields corrupt officials at the presidency.
Mr. Kofi Adams made this revelation on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ whilst he was responding to a statement from the office of former president Mahama special Aide Joyce Mogtari that, Mahama is incorruptible unlike Nana Addo.
He said “Talking about the BOST issue, the minister put up a committee to probe it, but nothing happened after all the investigations. The issue of Korle- Bu is also another. We heard A- Plus and so on, A – Plus is still talking about it.”
Kofi Adams also chastised the NPP on the cash for seat saga which was handled by parliament and the Kelni GVG deal.
However, the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST) Company, Alfred Obeng Boateng, was sacked by President Nana Akufo-Addo due to controversy surrounding the contamination.
Mr. Adams disclosed that “Cash for seat is also a case study, Nana Addo put up a three member committee, hence he turn around and organize a press conference to clear them, so how can the committee be truthful after your cleared them”
“With the Kelni GVG deal the minister said see is looking for a document and so on. If not the NPP like the Right to Information Bail has been passed into law. I am surprised that when NPP was in opposition they never endorse it, but they now need it. If they want it now, we will support it, because it can help Ghana,” he added.
