The head coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Joe Nana Adarkwa has conveyed the team’s heartfelt appreciation while expressing their determination to exceed expectations. In a remarkable show of support, President Akufo Addo warmly welcomed the formidable Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC to the seat of governmental power, providing a generous financial injection of Ghc 500,000 as they embark on their journey in the Champions League.

The nation’s leader, visibly enthused, encouraged the team to secure the coveted trophy and bring it back home, highlighting the immense pride that the team has instilled in the hearts of Ghanaians.

Building on their extraordinary achievements from the previous season, the management and players proudly presented their hard-earned trophies at the highest office in the nation, symbolizing the indomitable spirit and excellence that define Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC.

“We had the unique privilege of meeting with the President of our nation, @NAkufoAddo, yesterday. Our father shared in our successes, blessed our Champions League campaign with Ghc 500,000, and charged us with the mission of bringing the trophy home. Thank you, Mr. President.”

Ghana’s representative in the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League competition, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, has been drawn into Group B and will compete against Moroccan powerhouse AS FAR, as well as AS Mande and Huracanes from Mali and Equatorial Guinea, respectively.

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League marks the third edition of the annual African women’s association football club tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football.

The victors of this edition will automatically secure a place in the subsequent edition of the tournament.

The entire nation of Ghana stands united in support of Ampem Darkoa Ladies as they strive to bring honor to the country in the upcoming competition.
