The world of football is in absolute chaos amid reports that Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has tendered his resignation.
La Vecchia Signora’s chief has been one of the driving forces behind the controversial Super League, which now appears to be on its knees after a number of clubs who had signed up – Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona included – signalled their intention to withdraw.
There is conflicting information regarding Agnelli’s future doing the rounds, however, with initial reports suggesting he is on his way out now outweighed by sources claiming he’s staying put at the Allianz Stadium.
