Member of Parliament for Anyaa Sowutoum in the Ga Central Municipality, Emmanuel Tobbin has donated essential items to over 800 widows and persons with disability as part of his Christmas outreach program.
The donation, which took place at Odogonnor SHS, included rice, oil, meat, and money, and was witnessed by NPP executives.
In his address, Mr. Tobbin encouraged persons with disability to strive for self-reliance, emphasizing that “disability is not a crime.” He urged them to explore opportunities and contribute to the development of their communities.
The MP’s message was one of hope and inclusivity, as he wished all his constituents a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. He reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Anyaa Sowutoum and ensuring that no one is left behind.
The beneficiaries, who were visibly moved by the gesture, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr Tobbin for his kindness and generosity.
One beneficiary noted, “This donation has come at a time when we need it most. We are grateful to our MP for thinking of us.”
