The newly elected Polling Station Secretary for Ahenkro D/A Primary A in the Assin South Constituency, Gabriel Amoako, has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain united and work together towards securing victory in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to Happyghana.com after his decisive victory in the polling station elections on Sunday, July 5, Mr. Amoako expressed profound gratitude to party executives, leaders and members who supported his campaign from the beginning.
“I want to use this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to my party leaders and everyone who stood by me from the day I decided to contest this position. Your confidence and support made this victory possible,” he said.
Mr. Amoako stressed that strengthening unity at the grassroots level and making the NDC more attractive to voters would be key to winning the Assin South parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2028, while also contributing to the party’s success in the presidential election.
According to him, elections are won at the polling station, making it imperative for party executives and members to begin mobilising and organising immediately.
“Elections are won at the polling station. It is my vision that in 2028 we will wrest the Assin South parliamentary seat from the NPP. We must start working from today, and I therefore call on all party executives and members to unite so that together we can secure victory in 2028,” he added.
