The Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly has taken a significant step towards decongesting the Kwame Nkrumah Circle area, a notorious hotspot for traffic jams.
In an interview with Happy Kaseɛbɔ, the Municipal Chief Executive, Rudolph Collingwoode-Williams, said the initiative aims to improve traffic flow and provide a designated space for traders to operate without obstructing the roads.
Mr Collingwoode-Williams added that, the decongestion efforts are aimed at enhancing sanitation, and boost economic activity.
The MCE again stated that, the assembly is removing obstructions and designating specific areas for traders to reduce congestion and make it easier for drivers to navigate the Circle area.
Meanwhile some traders expressed their concern and frustration about the ongoing decongestion exercise.
