Ghana’s Black Galaxies have kicked off preparations in Soweto ahead of their international friendly against South Africa on Tuesday.
The fixture, set for the Dobsonville Stadium in Gauteng, forms part of Bafana Bafana’s build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which kicks off on December 21 in Morocco.
South Africa have been drawn in Group B alongside Egypt, Angola, and Zimbabwe for the continental tournament.
For the Black Galaxies, the game serves as an important test ahead of their upcoming CHAN qualification campaign.
Head coach Kassim Mingle has named a 20-man squad for the trip, with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 pm Ghana time on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
