the Ashanti Regional Security Council(REGSEC) has declared the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as a security zone.
The Chairman of REGSEC, Simon Osei-Mensah explained in a press release on Tuesday that the decision comes on the back of fears some members of the University’s Alumni are instigating their members to engage in activities that would disturb academic work and peace.
