The 2023 GHALCA Top Four tournament has been cancelled, organisers have announced.

Before the 2022/23 football season ended, the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) indicated that a Top Four tournament will be held in the off-season.

The tournament was expected to help the top four clubs from last season to prepare for the upcoming season.

In addition, it was expected to support the club that will be participating in the CAF Champions League in preparing for the preliminary stage of the continental competition.

Today, GHALCA in an official statement has announced that the Top Four tournament has been canceled.

“We regret to announce the cancellation of this year’s GHALCA top 4 tournament due to circumstances beyond our control

“The decision has been communicated to the participating clubs.

“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” GHALCA said in an official post on Twitter.
