Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a presidential aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on delegates to vote for a candidate who can unite the party and secure votes across all constituencies to win the 2028 general elections.
Speaking at a campaign event, Acheampong emphasized that deep internal divisions within the party contributed to its defeat in the last general election and must be addressed if the NPP is to return to power.
He positioned himself as the only candidate capable of uniting the party, citing his ability to bring cohesion and his inclusive leadership style.
“A candidate who cannot unite the party will struggle to win elections,” Acheampong warned. “We need a leader who can bring us together, not drive us further apart.”
