CAA Athletics Championship: Edwin Gadayi wins Men’s 100 Metre finals

Ghanaian athlete, Edwin Gadayi has claimed the first position in the finals of the men’s 100M in the ongoing CAA Athletics Championship at the Legon Sports Stadium.

Edwin Gadayi who is chasing a qualification to the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris, France beat off competition from Nigeria’s Isreal Okunu and his compatriot Sarfo Ansah to claim the gold medal.

The Ghanaian athlete won the men’s 100m finals at the CAA Regional II Championships.

He finished with a time of 10.28s#HappySports #CAARegionals pic.twitter.com/ZbZy1atn5c

Gadayi finished with a time of 10.28.

The Ghanaian runner will hope that his time will be enough to secure him a ticket to the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris, France.
