The much anticipated “intercedere conference” being organized by the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM), comes off from tomorrow Thursday, 30 to Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Rehoboth Temple, North-Legon.

The event, which is a two-day conference themed: “the effectual intercessor”, will bring together over 200 intercessors, prayer warriors, and Christians from all walks of life across the country.

Speakers for the two-day conference are Rev. J.F.K Mensah, Rev. Steve Mensah, Rev. Stanley Mensah, Rev Mike Awotwe, Rev John Attiogbe, Rev. Charles Afile and other seasoned men of God. The Conference will have three sessions (morning, afternoon and evening), from 9 am to 9 pm.

Speaking to the media about the conference, Head of the Intercessory Department at CEM Rev. Charles Afile said. “This is a must-attend event because I have observed that many Christians underestimate the power of intercession and anytime they pray, it’s just about themselves, their family or their wants”.

He added that praying for others also facilitates spiritual growth and claimed that it was a powerful tool for warfare.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the conference, Mr. Jerry Twum Oware edge Christians to make the most out of the opportunity presented to them by the conference. “Every participant will be given free materials like Christian books as well as other essential tools for building an effective prayer and intercessory life,” Mr. Oware said.

CEM is a word-based Church whose mission is to reach out to people from all walks of life especially, the rural world through its “Jesus to the rural” crusades accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders, and to raise passionate people who will preach the Gospel to every unsaved soul throughout the world.

The church has several branches across the globe as it aims to see the church become a place for spiritual growth and Christian maturity, empowerment for effective Christian living through the word of God, reaching out to others and transforming lives.
