Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called on Ghanaians to uphold the values of hope, peace, love, and compassion as they celebrate Christmas.
In a Christmas goodwill message, the Vice President said the sacred season serves as a reminder of the profound gifts brought to humanity by the Saviour, urging citizens to reflect these values in their daily lives.
She encouraged Ghanaians to reach out to the vulnerable, share with those in need, and extend kindness to one another, especially during the festive period.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang noted that as the nation continues the important task of resetting and building the Ghana it collectively desires, unity and selfless service remain crucial.
She expressed the hope that the light of Christmas would inspire citizens to greater harmony, commitment to national development, and progress.
She wished all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
