Club Lager, the legendary beer brand that has been reviving the country since 1931, has started the “Cheers to Chales” initiative as a heartfelt tribute to the continuing spirit of friendship and camaraderie among Ghanaians.

This unique campaign aims to celebrate the unwavering support of friends, or ‘Chales’ as they are affectionately known and offers an incredible opportunity to win 10,000 Ghana Cedis for them.

Ghana, known for its resilience in the face of challenges, has always cherished the bond of friendship and community. Club Lager, a proud product of Accra Brewery PLC (ABL), recognizes the importance of this support system. To honour this, the “Cheers to Chales” initiative was launched in style at De-Mod North Kaneshie, featuring a lively atmosphere filled with beer, delectable food, and the melodious tunes of a live band. Notable indigenous act Wutah graced the event to serenade the Chales, making it an unforgettable experience.

Club Lager also unveiled a heartwarming addition to their iconic beer bottles, specially designed neck labels adorned with motivational words. These labels are a tribute to the Chales, reinforcing the idea that some things money just can’t buy – the love, laughter, and support we share with our cherished friends.

Emmanuella Odametey, the Brand Manager, expressed her enthusiasm about the campaign and urged Chales to look for these special labels when enjoying their favourite Club Lager products, such as Chale No Yawa, Chale You Do All, Chale We Move, Chale Vim, or Chale Cheers.

How To Participate

Participating in the “Cheers to Chales” initiative is a breeze. Ghanaians can simply dial 8999# and follow the prompts to enter the contest. Your chance to win 10,000 Cedis for your Chales is just a Club Lager bottle away.

Weekly Draw on TV3

To ensure transparency and excitement for all participants, Club Lager will select 20 random winners every week through a live draw. The draw will be broadcast on TV3 at 8 p.m. on Fridays. This engaging weekly event promises to keep the excitement levels high throughout the campaign.

Redemption Information

For the lucky winners, the redemption of the 10,000 Ghana Cedis prize will take place at the premises of Accra Brewery PLC, situated on Graphic Road. This unique opportunity allows winners to experience the heart of where Club Lager is made. Winners must present their national ID cards for redemption.

The “Cheers to Chales” initiative is a beautiful gesture by Club Lager to give back to the community that has embraced it as a beloved household name for nearly a century. It’s not just a celebration of friendship but a reminder of the enduring strength of the Ghanaian spirit, proving that some bonds are truly priceless.
