Since the coronavirus pandemic in Wuhan, Hubei China December 2019 governments all over the world are finding ways to protect their citizens and President Akufo-Addo is no exception.
The president in his update number three (3) on measures taken against the spread of coronavirus enumerated his strategy of winning the war against Covid-19.
‘’All that government is doing is intended to achieve five (5) key objectives-limit and stop the importation of the virus; contain its spread; provide adequate care for the sick; limit the impact of the virus on social and economic life; and inspire the expansion of our domestic capability and deepen our self-reliance’’ he stated.
All the country’s borders- land, air and sea- will be closed at midnight on Sunday to help stop the importation of the virus.
Importation of goods are however, exempted from the border closure.
