Ghanaian politician and former Member of Parliament for Akwatia Constituency, Ahmed Mohammed Baba Jamal has asserted that the current Coronavirus pandemic being suffered by Ghana and the world is a pointer from God telling us to check our lives here on earth.

According to him, the virus is God’s weapon pushing us to remember and turn to him.

In an interview on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’, the Deputy Legal Affairs Director of the National Democratic Congress had this to say: “We are repeating the same mistakes people of the old did which led to the destruction of the world. We’re practicing same sex relationships just like Sodom and Gomorrah and worshiping idols like in the time of Mosses. As bestiality and incest are also being accepted as norms in certain countries, God’s wrath was a sure thing on the world. But our current situation is God’s way of advising us.”

On his authority as God is using the coronavirus as a reprimand, he will surely listen to us should we turn away from our wrongs and live right by him. “When we get to hard times like this, we have to meet and pray to God and He’ll definitely give us an audience.”

The entire nation of Ghana yesterday, 25th March, 2020 observed a National Day of Prayer and Fasting to seek the face and intervention of God as the country suffers from the coronavirus pandemic.

The government of Ghana has disclosed that, the confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Ghana as at today is 132 with 3 deaths.
